My concern is that there's no serial number on the actual receipt (it's written on the piece of paper). The bag was bought in Chanel's boutique in Milan. I thought that all their receipts include serial numbers. I emailed Chanel but no response so far.

As for the structure, I see this a lot with boys. I think the only thing you can do, without having to send it to professionals, is to fully stuff the bag and leave it alone for a while to somewhat reshape it. You might also consider a base shaper

I also have this lovely white and gold travel line flap bag - I'm very confident it is authentic since I had the chance to compare it with another one in a different color.
However, it has a "dimple" on the lock and I'm wondering whether it is damage, or it has been reguilded or some other process.
The dimple is so shallow you can't feel it with a finger and it is only noticeable in a close up photo. Have you ever seen something like it? Any idea what could've caused it?
