In order to avoid forth and back postings, before requesting an authentication, please read post # 2 of this thread (here) for all pictures required for an accurate assessment. Please note that pictures all of the required details need to be of quality: non-angled, crisp and sharp, up close and glare-free. I need to be able to see the detailing and authentications can't be done if pictures are lacking. Please note: If your request has no valid link to the listing (that's still active, or has ended) and you already bought/are the owner of the bag, you would need to post a login shot.
Login shot: the bag in front of your device while logged into your tPF account (showing your username). Example here
You can only post a login shot if the item is in your possession.
No login shot is needed if you can provide a valid link.

* Currently I also don't authenticate items from social media sites like Instagram and Facebook, nor do I authenticate RTW and footwear.

Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is in order to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any pictures (all authentication must include pictures). All requests must have clear photos (either in listing and/or provided by member requesting the authentication). This will help expedite authentications. Please ask the seller/use the macro setting on your digi (little flower). If you cannot see the details yourself, neither can we. Please provide photos taken with an actual camera. Cell phone pictures rarely provide good details.

-Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.
-Authenticators are not employed by tPF and do not represent tPF.
-Please note that comments on price and condition are NOT permitted.
-Please limit your request to one (1) per post; otherwise it gets too confusing keeping them all straight.
-Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests must be posted in this thread.

When you receive the bag, post back with a sharper up close pictures of the sticker, zipper and back plate to be certain, but I'm not expecting any problems with this one.

Hello, I bought this Chanel from Vestiaire Collective and I was wondering if you could help me. I have read really bad comments about their authentication (unfortunately after I already bought it) so now I’m full of doubt and I’m not planning to wear a fake. Hi all. This is a bit of an outlier, and I'm not sure anyone can help, but I figured I'd try. I bought this shawl maybe 15 years ago from someone who worked at Chanel. It never had a Chanel tag (it may have been a sample?). I'm trying to figure out now if it's authentic, because I'd like to give it to someone as a gift, and don't want to mislead them if it's not. I'm attaching photos of the shawl, both distant and close up. It's very heavy, and feels like excellent quality (not that that necessarily means anything). I'm hoping someone might be familiar with the style, or there's some tell that will show it as real or fake. I'm happy to post additional photos if necessary!!!
