I also attached the hologram sticker.
Should I go to a chanel boutique and ask them to "refurbish" the bag in an effort to authenticate it?

To gain a little more insight on buying vintage Chanel, I wanted to ask you about the quality concerns I had on this specific bag.

On the bottoms of the two C's and in the middle where they overlap, there are areas of uncut edges. Is this normal on older Chanel bags? View attachment 4301253

Also, please see the two links below. I found the same bag I purchased but the stamping on the inside, placement of the CC emblem and the stitching on the bottom middle of the bag are different. Is it common that they changed details like that?

What you see is normal. It's also not uncommon to see small differences like that among the same vintage styles.

I have checked the receipt codes for the bag, it is okay but just the chain engraving is my concern..

Each serial # is unique, so two authentic bags can't have the same serial #. The serial mentioned in the Ebay listing does not belong to that bag.

Oh - thanks so much for responding. But that doesn't necessarily mean that ebay bag is fake, does it?
