My friend has bought a chanel boy chevron 25cm in shiny silver bag online. But we are in doubts wether its real or not. My friend is an impulsive buyer. Does the shiny silver hardware supposed to have a light / not heavy chain? I own a gucci chain marmont sling bag and I keep telling her the chain is heavy as legit metal but hers is like light like a toy chain lol. Also, I checked the physical store in hk and I never seen this color plus the logo is somehow not pushed back much unlike the one I saw in other hardware in Chanel store. Hello Everyone! I am brand new to the purse forum, I was hoping that someone would be able to authenticate a Chanel brooch that I am interested in purchasing on ebay. I found the same style of brooch from three listings at different prices. One is listed for $400, while the other is listed for $187 (One that has ended already sold at $495) Both available listings (the $400 and $187) claim to be authentic. I read up on the ways to authenticate jewelry via the oval stamp on the back, and the year/letters for season, but I found myself a little confused because the $400 and $495 brooches looked very different from the back, while the $187 brooch looked like the $400 brooch.
