It doesn’t have a serial # sticker on it. Instead it has number embossed on it that matches a card...I told the seller it is not authentic after receiving it in the mail today but he is saying it is authentic and it was purchased in at Chanel store.

I just bought this bag on the Real Real.

I was discussing with a friend and she warned me that Chanel is accusing TRR of selling fakes in a recent lawsuit. Looking at the listing now, I'm panicked that this is fake. No mention of serial hologram or auth card in the listing, yet the condition is listed as "excellent--no visible signs of wear." Even if the lining had been replaced (and thus the hologram removed) I feel like TRR should have disclosed this...I feel stupid that I wasn't more eagle-eyed.

I know the photos aren't great and I'm set to receive this bag next week, and will post additional photos once I receive it. Just wondering if anyone can give a preliminary opinion in the meantime so I can panic a little less.

Bag is likely OK, though listing is lacking many pictures needed for authentication (this is usual for TRR, though in the past they have always at least shown a picture of the sticker). When you receive the bag, post back with your own pics.

Need forward facing and extremely up close, in focus (sharp) and glare-free shots of both sides of the zipper pull and sticker. I can't help if pictures are lacking, especially with higher series classics and boys.
