This is my first time to own Chanel bag. Hope you can help to authenticate this bag. Thanks in advance.

I bought this purse from a seller on eBay . The listing had end. Everything looks perfect but just this hologram sticker. I contacted the seller, she accepted my return but she said she guarantee it authentic , she wants me to authenticate and she will pay for the service , she bought in New York, she said she called the store and they said I can bring it to local store to check , when I have the report, if it isn’t authentic, she will send to the New York store to take care of it. The bag comes with card , paper tag and the paper had day of purchase, series number( written) and address of the Chanel store stamped on it . Thank you

Hello Ironic 568,

Thank you for your reply. I think the bag is a fake. The lining colour is black: the colour does not correspond or close to the bag colour. The price of the bag is approx $2100, which I think it is too good to be true?

The bag is just received by VC and I am curious what they say about it. I’ve heard that many fake bags passed VC authentication and buyers got their money back.

As soon as I receive the bag (if it ever sends it to me), I am going to send more pictures here.

Update:
VC cancelled my order: the item is not as described. The item is apparently fake. I don’t know if they are going to ban the seller or not .

Color of the lining is not a red flag. I need more and better pics to give an opinion, but so far from the pics provided I do not see any red flags. VC has let fakes slip through in the past, but has also deemed authentic items as fake. Also, if they request a receipt and you're not able to provide one, they will cancel the sale. I don't know why they cancelled the sale. They might believe it's fake, but it could also be that the bag is not in the condition it was described.
