Authentic. This bag is from mid to late 90s, so should definitely have a serial sticker. It can be found on the lower left corner of the bag.

Seller: my friend’s cousin

Comment: My friend’s cousin is selling this flap which ive been dying to have.. im just having doubts because the chain’s gold hardware and the CC logo has different Gold tone. The chain has lighter tone than the CC logo. Aside from that, the screw on the plate is rounded and not flat. I know some recently series Chanels use rounded screw heads but this is series 14.

I don't authenticate private sales/without a valid link, but if it makes you feel better, I do not see any reason for concern with the things you mentioned/are worried about.

Not quite as up close as I want it to be, but I also see no red flags (I know it's a royal pain to take an in focus and up close shot, sorry).

For in house inspection you send the bag to a 3rd party authentication service so they inspect the bag in person. Boutiques don't authenticate, nor are they allowed to. The advantages of physical inspection is that authenticators can inspect every inch of the bag, can feel and smell the bag and possibly do a side by side comparison with another bag.
There are many authentication services that do in house authentication (you can do a search). The ones I recommend are Leather Surgeons and Etinceler.
