Can someone please tell me if this WG Cartier thin bracelet is authentic? Purchased from someone believed to be reputable and a diamond fell out. Also where the stone fell out, it doesn’t appear to be white gold underneath.

I recently acquired this cartier stamped necklace that has obviously seen better days. Its damaged but does it look authentic? It looks pretty old.
Its hard to see through the damage but the stamps say "Cartier", "750" in a circle, "©" and "Ok2592 ly"
It seems to be real gold as its a very soft metal, I accidentally knocked it against a table and it dented.

My husband spent a lot of money on this Cartier and just wanted to make sure this is the real deal. I’m just concerned because if you notice closely some of the lines are slightly leaving marks on the clean gold part. If that makes any sense. Just look at the lines closely and how it kinda outlines a bit. Is this normal? Pls thanks
