So I had this very bag and found it in a group photo of all my Brahmins from February 2014. I believe it was a late 2000s bag and you can see it in the middle of the sofa with a few friends ;) Definitely Eloise Rose.

Adding Again:
I believe the name was Eloise Rose as there was a rose like hanging from it that you can see on the right side.

Thank you so much! I have a couple more that I may need help with. My collection has gotten large and I'm doing my best going through them and thinning out... It's tough lol Thank you again.

It looks to be in good condition. I do not see the gold Brahmin oval medallion in your photos — it usually comes on the bags. Is it just missing from the photo? What about a little tag on the inside in a corner showing the Made in ___ and Brahmin USA. What about a logo or anything on the inside pockets? Are there any words on the zipper pull - that zipper pull is VERY different than any I have ever seen on a Brahmin.

Those are the things I need to see to be able to authenticate it unofficially. I am not an official authentication service or anything - just someone who has owned a number of Brahmins since the 1990s. I recognize this style with the suede at the top and the Melbourne leather at the bottom. It looks good - I would just like to verify the above questions before I give a “final answer”.

I was out of the country when this post first came in so I did not see it again until you replied today. I do watch the thread and try to give my input.

Hello all! I have researching for days on a bag I found for my mom. She would kill me if I ever bought her a new Brahmin. I found this one at a garage sale and hoping you guys can tell me if it’s real. It had a tag inside it but I can’t find anything. I know nothing about the brand but it smells like real leather and I don’t see any flaws in stitching. Thanks for any thoughts on it.

I don't think this bag goes with the tag you have pictured here. I see a similar style via google search referred to as Copa Cabana which is in line with what I was thinking it might be. That said, the bag has all of the hallmarks of a geniune Brahmin handbag.

Hi,
Thanks for replying. I checked the bag over and there are none of the things you ask for, except a Made in China tag inside. The bag is solid and the stitching looks well done. It has a leather smell.

Hello guys!
I would love your help authenticating this bag. I can’t find the model number anywhere? Any idea ? Thank you so much

This bag has all the hallmarks of a genuine Brahmin. I see no red flags that make me think it could be inauthentic.

Brahmin has made many, many top handles. It looks like it could be an early version of the Caroline (current style) or possibly the Anywhere satchel.
