Authentic?

Thanks so much :D

Nope. That's a fake. I love how she strategically placed string over the black tag to obscure the view of the printing.

Take a look at all the seller's previous sales -- she sells these in multiples. Also, these scarves start at $260 retail, there's no way anyone in their right mind would sell them so cheap.

I bought a McQueen scarf on EB from a perfect-ranked seller (not one neutral/bad response out of 700), and I'm pretty sure that the scarf I bought is authentic, because I checked the tags& even some of the skulls. But one thing is bugging me:

The logo (which is fine in size/shape) on the lower right hand corner is SEWN in instead of PRINTED in like they sell today. I don't know why this is, and this is literally the ONLY thing that worries me about this scarf.

I have heard from 2 people that the scarf can be sewn-in logo as well as the print, but I want to double-check on this forum. So is this authentic? Or did I just fall for the EB-fake scarf? ):

Here are the links to the pictures:
(please ignore the extra thread in the 'Q'- the buyer explained that that is not uncommon with silk products so it's okay with me)

''Original Outnet proof of purchase included (photos available on request)''

The owner's statement above should be more than enough proof of its authenticity enjoy!

A receipt is NEVER proof of authenticity. It's so easy to use a receipt from another purchase, or buy a fake receipt. I don't know enough to authenticate the bag for sure, but I just wanted to mention this.

I personally asked above question to the expert and she claimed it as a KNOCK-OFF. Please be aware of fakes! Here are some tips to distinguish fakes from authentic.
(1) For authentic Alexander McQueen, shape of skull shouldn't be round as fakes. They are rather rough and vary from one another.
(2) Label on the paper tag should have rectangle yet roundy corner. Rectangle labels are cheaper to make so most of fakes use rectangle lable.
(3) Brand name printed in much smaller on authentic tag.
With above information , I found out that most of Alexander McQueen scarves are fake though sellers describe them as authentic. So, please be careful!
