first of all, sorry to re-hash this! but i was just wondering and didn't know where else to look...
my alexander mcqueen scarf [bought off ebay] was also cheap and the tag was also in a loop and didn't say made in italy. it must be the same kind that Babycakes80 bought. anyway, it was APPARENTLY new with tags and it does have the tag saying it cost $220 with the barcode etc but is this to say that they made that tag themselves or something? it looks genuine! with the alexander mcqueen on the tag all bold and everything but i just dont get it. how would they fake all that? regardless, im sure it probably is a fake right? if anyone could just clear this up for me somehow i would greatly appreciate it :)

1st pic shows the tag it came with stating it cost $220
2nd pic is just the alexander mcqueen in bold on the price tag... dont know if that helps
3rd pic is the scarf itself
4th shows the tag that should say made in italy [notice its a looped tag not flat] and 5th pic is where it says alexander mcqueen's name on the scarf

I don't believe that scarf to be authentic. McQueen scarves don't have the black tag folded over like the one you posted. However -- I need to see the entire tag to be 100% sure.
