I am a bit concerned about the color of the heel cap which seems different from the one pictured on the Valentino website (on this particular model and color ). I also noted that there is no serial number on the inside of the shoes. Also the label on the box with the barcode is a bit different from the label that I have on another box of genuine Valentino shoes. Please help! Thank you.

I have the same problem, no serial number but everything looks so legitimate. Except the embossed logo is not as refined as it should be. Take a look at my photos to compare. I bought mine off an eBay seller, no authentication stuff, not even a sticker on the box, but from the photos I though they looked so legitimate. I've tried asking Valentino on facebook, I doubt they will reply regarding the serial number.

The top issue is there is not serial number on the inside!
If I had to be pedantic these are the other slight problems:
the leather on the inside of the straps some have raw untreated edges ,and poorly cut, with erratic zigzagging (see circled in photo) but it could be me being over critical. Please see what you think.Do the straps look authentic?

Some of the studs are not aligned uniformly within the borders of the stitching, at slightly different angles to the strap, as seen along the t bar and the outer border. But they're not too bad. My authentic ones are slightly off centre too which I bought from the stores.

Lastly the embossed logos look just a tad too unrefined, although all fonts look good. The V maybe too close to the A and O at the end is too far out?

If it's a fake, it's a really good fake. Many thanks in advance authenticator!

I looked at 4 of my own pairs, two direct purchases from Valentino, one from Nordstroms and one purchased overseas, from Matches, I believe. Only one pair had a serial number, and that was the newest pair. All were kitten heels. If they’re an older pair and somewhat worn, that explains some issues.

Thank you authenticator, but with your ones with no serial numbers, are there stitching inside the toe box? Like what you can see in my photos no. four and five? With that in mind, would you be confident this was authentic?
