Hi authenticators, I have a pair of Valentino ‘V punk’ sneakers and need help authenticating them. I have compared every detail to two other authentic Valentino shoes I have and everything seems the same other than the material feeling of the dustbag. Hi kind authenticators! I recently bought a pair of Valentino rockstuds kitten heels in the dark mauve and just received it in the mail! It's so pretty and fits like a dream, and came with the box, dustbag, spare studs and heel tips. However, I did buy it off Vestiaire Collective and after reading threads about it on TPF, I was wary about fakes ending up on the site. I compared my heels with my mum's real ones, and they look real to me, but I would love your second opinion for my peace of mind. Thanks for your time!!

Most of us don’t do sneakers, jellies or espadrilles but I’ll do some of the Italian ones only and yours look fine to me. Dust bag looks OK too and those fabrics can vary although IMO no boxes or accessories should ever be used for authentication as they can get switched around.

Sorry I couldn’t answer on the general shoe thread but it’s important to keep all conversations in one place since Valentino and Louboutin have their own threads.
