Cleaning dip dye

ok so i took the plunge or rather the scarf did and its hanging to dry on a chair as we speak

i didnt use any soap since i had no stains just water spots so it was just warm water and then rinsed with cold

so nervous i hope it turns out well...

So it looks so much better! The water spots are gone. But some dye deposited (even though i didn't use soap or see dye in the water) in a crease from where it has previously been worn (where it draped since I always wore it cowboy style) but it fits the dip dye image of looking a bit worn and not so pristine. So overall a success!

Same for me. I didn't really recognize it till I ironed the scarf in the evening. For me it doesn't look bad, but you are right. Congratulations anyway that you got rid of the spots.
 
na294 : I'am so happy for you your scarf looks better now - would you mind post a picture of it - or tell us what cw she is - I think it could be very helpfull - because results depending - I think - of the cw.
