I was wondering if anyone here has gotten any water marks on their dip dye. Unfortunately the first day that I wore mine I got some water on mine and want to know if anyone has any tips for removing the marks.

Its driving me insane and I love the scarf so much! Of course when I wear it no one will notice but I know they are there.

I was thinking trying the dry cleaners and if that does not work I will just have to wet the whole thing and let it dry so it ends up the same color.

Please help if you can!

Can't help with the watermarks but I would try to wash it first. I washed my Carre Surteint dip dye two times now and ironed it - everything turned out well. Good luck!

There are instructions in a thread called Cleaning Scarves. Most of us handwash in tepid (room temperature) water with a very mild soap. Just do a LOT of rinsing, keep the scarf moving, don't let it sit wadded up in a ball (I roll it up in a towel when it comes out of the water) and you'll be fine.

Be careful and do not spot wash it - I spot washed my dipdye GM in cool water with very mild soap and lots of rinsing and now have a lighter patch! It's not very noticeable though.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

mine looks like some dye got out too, hopefully it will look better after i wash it tonight

it wont bother me if the whole thing looks lighter, i am also horrible at ironing so after i'll get the dry cleaners to iron it too

thanks for the help everyone!
