Classic watch or a ruby ring?

What's your current watch collection? I think a classic watch is definitEly nice wth your Hermes bag collection.
Which Rolex/Cartier are you eyeing?

Hi nvie! I don't have much of a watch collection really. Just a few fashion watches from Gucci, Fendi and Armani. The Fendi and Armani are with diamonds. But nothing big ticket items. Since I have bags both silver and gold hardware, and I do like mix and match metals, I am eyeing a 2-tone Rolex Oyster datejust or 2-tone Cartier Panthere.

what about a steel cartier or rolex and now or later a ruby eternity band? good rubies are near impossible to find much less afford. I would buy a vintage or pre-owned ruby ring without a doubt (unless money is no object) and a classic watch

Hermesaholic, thanks for your input. I like the idea of having both items!

Quality rubies are extremely difficult to find right now. Unless you have a jeweler that might have older stock, I'd go with the watch first.

You are absolutely right, Kitsunegrl, I've been looking around but there aren't that many ruby rings around. Will definitely looking for vintage and 2nd hand shops.

Good choice babe! You definitely need 1 good classic watch. Then you can start looking for a ruby ring to match your necklace. But the watch is a must.

Thanks lily! I am leaning towards the Rolex for the moment. But the Cartier is gorgeous too! Tough choice!!!

I already have a Cartier Tank Solo, and I never wear it because I prefer my Omega - I will probably sell the Cartier because it costs a lot to maintain it-, I'm starting to look at Rolex, especially the one my MIL wears, it is very beautiful. Unfortunately I'm not very educated with Rolex and I don't know the name or the type, it is a woman's size, and 2 tone.
