Classic Flap... Which Size to Get for a First Chanel?

Hmm I would say Medium or a Jumbo. But honestly it's conflicting! If you get a big one then you want to get a smaller one (and vice-versa). Whatever you choose, it'll be great!!!

I'm interested in finally pulling the trigger & getting a classic flap this holiday season. I want black lambskin w/ gold hardware. I'm 5'2, and am interested in wearing this mainly during the day, but also could transfer into nighttime wear.

I know I don't want the jumbo or mini, but I'm stuck between medium & large... thoughts?

The small you can crossbody. The medium holds more but the chain is shorter because the bag takes up more room so you can't crossbody at all. Maybe squeeze when you wash your hands. The small flap holds less than the mini.

I would say either small or M/L depending on how much you carry.

I have 5 medium large classic flaps and after owning that I prefer the small size. I have 2 smalls and I reach for those more often.
The price is cheaper. For me there is less wear on the small because the size is smaller I bump into things less.
I prefer the proportion of the small over the medium large.
But in general most people recommend the medium large.
