DH would like to buy me a pair of earrings for Christmas, so I'm trying to decide on a nice everyday pair of studs. I'm considering these two, but can't decide if I'd prefer the solitare studs, or the others that seem to have a bit more bling. I love that the "Sunburst" pair lays flush on the ears, it seems that they'd be very comfortable and have a lot of sparkle. But, I love that the solitare pair could be upgraded if I decide to go bigger in the future. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

My vote would absolutely be for studs... It has been the single best purchase to date for me since I treated myself (Pre-DH) 13 years ago. I wear them every day and they bring me joy each morning when I put them back on. They go with everything and bring classiness and sophistication to any outfit- :D

Go for the studs. If you have a higher budget, go for a larger pair of studs like what DS2006 said. They go with everything. Best of all, they can be upgraded. :D

another vote for studs
and if you think you may want to upgrade in the future, you may want to look at Whiteflash. They have a program for trading in and upgrading.
