Happy holiday everyone!

Revealing my new atlas ring. My partner was very sweet to gift this to me. Originally he got this as a size 6 so I could switch the ring back and forth from my middle and ring finger. But I slept with the ring on the middle finger and (I had a very sodium heavy dinner on Christmas...) and it was stuck. But normally the ring felt fine and fit nicely besides not being used to a wide ring on that finger. My ring finger is about sz 5-5.5..... Wondering if I should swap it for that size? I never bought a ring that was meant for switching between two fingers so I definitely did not know any better.... But after trying it yesterday I'm nervous and don't know what finger this ring is meant to be on aesthetically and how a wide ring should fit. Any advice is appreciated !

I wear the atlas on my ring finger.
Usually I have a 5 and with this ring it is size 5,5.
On my opinion the ring looks nice on every finger.
I think it is no problem when you have a ring which you can switch from
one finger to another.
Then you have more possibilities.
If it's comfy, keep it like it is.

I find being able to swap between fingers adds versatility, particularly if you like to stack. I would stay with this size unless you're concerned about it being too loose and slipping off. It looks gorgeous with your skin tone. :smile1:

+1 yes subtly different looks. My fingers change size and now I just like moving my rings around. As long as your ring is not loose and fall off do what makes you happy. Lovely ring and great gift!

Congrats on this beautiful gift. I would keep the size 6 and wear it in the middle finger. When you wear it on the ring finger, you may stack it with one or two rings, that way, this ring would not feel loose.

Thanks everyone for your ideas!

I definitely want to get rings to stack with this, but on its own the ring falls off my ring finger.

I don't want to wear on my index finger as its uncomfortable for me, I had a trauma to the finger and it doesn't lend itself to having a ring.

I did not know wide rings should be bigger- Thanks Ame

And thank you everyone for the congrats. I guess the question now is if I want to get rings to permanently stack with the ring or swap for a 5.5.

I'd get a 5.5. Wider rings usually need to be larger.

Is it true that hands get larger as we age? That was a point my partner brought up yesterday, asking if it should be large for me to fit into? Idk if it's because at his job they've had to cut rings off of women but I didn't know what to say lol.

Will the force as I move my hands push the smaller ring off my finger?

Varies. I know a lot of women go up in size after kids. But mine have because of my knuckles.
