Like most imprinted LV items, they can eventually rub off if you use them heavily and expose to elements.
Yikes! Been awhile since I've visited tPF but I was curious to know if anything was posted about this year's Xmas animation. I think LV really needs a new creative direction. Feels like I'm looking at last year's rejected designs. 
But to answer the earlier question about the design wear I'm careful with mine (but I don't baby them) and mine have lasted well. They will show some wear around the bottom or edges after awhile, but like all LV items, they're meant to be used.

yea i agree. this year collection looks like rejected design from last year. The colours are a little weird imo. Personally I prefer their animals design.
Anyway my SA told me that the xmas collection is available for preorder in Sept.
I threw a lot of shade at last year's collection as being silly and too "hello kitty-ish"- I am not a Vivienne fan either. Then I saw the items in person and ended up with all 3 MPA, round coin, elizabeth pouch and 2 bag charms. Never say never- there is always something magical and irresistible about LV xmas collections.
Of the past collections, my favorites were the Edwardian travel scenes and the trunks- I like the ones that remind me of LV's travel heritage.

. i used to think it look really ugly but i ended up buying a pair recently. alright i shall not look at these collections in real life to prevent any damage to my wallet.

Lol! That's true, until you see the item in person you never know. I really, really miss the travel heritage scenes. That's what made me fall in love with LV.
