How did you send yours to them, in the Louboutin Box, package in a bigger box with just the tissue papers in it or the whole thing or just the shoes itself wrapped up?

That’s a great question. When I emailed Minuit Moins 7 in Paris, they said not to ship anything (Louboutin box, dust bags, heel tips, extra spikes) and to only ship the shoes. They said to wrap the shoes in bubble wrap or nonbleached paper and to ship it to them in a regular package box.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about them. I have also noticed that there are a couple of leather spas in New York. Which one do you take yours to?

I also use Santana Creative and have for several years. I am able to go into the shop so I don't have any experience with shipping, but from my experience they are a well organized machine. Their customer service is always wonderful and I'm not a customer that they "know" right away when I walk through the door. I've never had a bad experience with them nor any problems with their craftsmanship and they are willing to fix things if you aren't satisfied. I don't think you can go wrong here.

I went to my local cobbler to try and get my Louboutin 120mm heel cut down a bit since so many women are doing it to their Loubs and he said it couldn’t be done. I’m determined to find someone who can. Are you familiar with heel lifts? Do you know if Santana creative does this type of work on Louboutins?

I don’t know for sure but I’m my money would be on yes. I would say just call them and ask. They’ll definitely let you know.

Hi! Who do you recommend instead? I live in San Diego but will drive to OC or LA. Looking for a cobbler that can fix a wedge heel chewed on by a dog....

Well, I now live in Irvine and have been using Deluxe Shoe Repair in Newport Beach and have been extremely happy with the quality of their work....furthermore, really appreciate their honesty....they are not afraid to tell you what they can and cannot do and they are up front with what they anticipate the end result will be....you can google them, they are right near Fashion Island on Newport Center Drive in a small shopping mall.....They seem to do a lot of high end shoes judging from the shoes that one can see them working on....Christian Louboutins, Manolo, Prada, Choo's, etc...oh their pricing seems so much fairer than those guys in Beverly Hills....

Thank you! I'm in Newport Beach about once a week for work so that is perfect! Will definitely try them!
