I've had this dilemma with myself before, and although I went with a datejust instead, I think the Happy Diamonds slightly wins out as the floating diamonds are too gorgeous to resist.

I do like the look of the Chopard Happy Sport. But Cartier watches have a sleek, sophisticated look as well.
I'll be dropping into the Chopard and Cartier boutiques sometime in the next couple of weeks.
I think that I need to try on more watches before making a decision. I didn't try on any on the Tank watches as I was set on a round faced watch, but maybe I should go for a different look instead.....
But even if I go for my original plan of - steel and a round faced watch, at least I should explore more styles before making the purchase so that I don't have any regrets!

I was debating between Tank Francaise, Ballon bleu and chopard happy diamond with leather strap last year and bought TF. Slightly regret the decision and can't get Chopard happy diamond out of my mind. Oh well at least I know I have a classic Cartier watch but am still hoping to acquire Chopard watch one day. Go try all and see which one sings to your heart.
I'm slightly biased, but I prefer the clean look of the BB. The Chopard is nice, but there's a bit too much going on for me.
I just received my Cartier BB 36 Automatic for my 22nd birthday and I am obsessed/in love with it! Timeless Classic go for the Cartier!!!
To me, the Chopard is more feminine, and the Cartier is more modern. Which look appeals to you more?

I tried the Chopard yesterday. I was about 90% sure that I would prefer it over the BB....but I was wrong!
While the diamonds are gorgeous. They roll AND spin!! But the overall casing / face didn't look right on me.
I went to Cartier next. I had tried the 33 and 36mm BB in the past. Yesterday, I tried the 36 BB with and without the diamond markers, as well as the 42 BB and men's tank solo.
I liked the 36mm BB without diamonds and the men's Tank Solo the best.
Since going into my forties, I thought that I should get a more 'grown-up' watch like Chopard. But age should not matter...I love wearing my husband's Breitling watches and I think that larger watches look better on me, so that's what I'll get!
I was at Rolex a few weeks ago and the SA told me that they were geeting new watches in soon. I shall check out the watches there before making my final decision.

Good for you for going with your heart! I'm 40 and I'm a big watch girl! Always will be.
