No, it’s substantial on it’s own. Also love the little detail on the chain. For the small size, would it look small if worn alone?
If I wear the small clash alone, will it also stand out?Depends on the vibe you want. People’s eyes focus on one piece in the center with the vintage pendant. Whereas the clash necklace is more of a choker style, which to me is a bit more casual. I think there is room for both in a collection. I think you can layer the clash with any pendant. The vintage pendant is more distinctly VCA.
For people that know and love the clash line I am sure they will notice it right off. If they don’t know it but like jewelry I am sure they would appreciate it. If they’re not into jewelry, I don’t think it would capture their attention the way a piece that is blingier would. I don’t think the gold vintage pendant really pops either, compared to say a piece with diamonds. But I think the pendant may be a wee bit more noticeable. Of course that’s just my opinion. The pendant is very pretty and soft. The clash is little edgier. The looks are very different but given the above, they are both relatively subtle compared to a pave Alhambra pendant, for example. So I really think it is dependent on the look you want and what feels most you.If I wear the small clash alone, will it also stand out?
