Choosing an everyday pendant

Another vote for the hammered gold! I have mine in RG and I never take it off!

Oh! i thought the chalcedony was a low maintenance stone, which is why I was preferring it over the MOP. That’s good to know. I actually would love to get the 10-motif MOP, but that’s definitely not an everyday look. Also isn’t low maintenance at all. Being able to wear it at work, and then straight to the gym without having to remove it and leave it in the locker is a big factor I am looking for. I wish I loved the look of onyx because that would make the decision easier!

I wear my 5 motif chalcedony very often and have worn it in the shower, no damage so far. It's not 100% carefree but definitely as hardwearing as carnelian & onyx.

If you want something hardwearing that you don't really have to take off, pave & hammered would be great options. If you prefer a stone, tiger eye/carnelian/onyx/chalcedony are all safe. I personally think carnelian would look best on you though.

You got some really nice options there, try on all of them to see which one you like best. The stone version is always fun to shop for, I love discovering pieces with exceptional colorway and/or unique pattern, make it feel more special. Not sure when the next price increase will be (my SA said he'll keep me posted but haven't heard anything), if you're certain that you want to add a pave piece to your collection, may also worth to consider getting it first since the price increase usually hurt more on the pricier pieces. Chalcedony (for me) is one of my care free necklaces. I've worn it in humid 90+ degree Florida summers and on vacation in Southeast Asia (also humid and hot weather) and it still looks great. I don't shower with any of my jewelry though...just the occasional soap & water cleanings every now and then.
Try the Guilloché or the Hammered Gold pendants...they're also very hardy and care free. I own the YG and WG Guilloché necklace and the RG Hammered earrings...zero issues with any of them and I also work in the medical field like you.

Just wanted to update, I went with the mini pave frivole pendant in yellow gold. I love it! I plan on mostly wearing it with my diamond stud earrings, or sweet Alhambra in MOP but today I wore it with my small frivole earrings. The size difference does look a little off, but they both make me happy! i am wearing my PJ shirt in this picture lol so it wasn’t the outfit I wore!

I am happy with my purchase. I want the pave earrings eventually!
