I am leaning more towards the white right now. The Rolex white especially is just such a pure white as apposed to more creamy tones and I feel like it's so fresh and clean! I guess I will go try them on and make a final decision from there. I can always get a black dial down the road for evening events :graucho:

Thank you for all your opinions :urock:

I have had a white faced for several years and always wanted a black. I finally found one I loved and bought it. I have noticed I feel limited in wearing it where I never did with the white face. And it's not a casual vs no casual thing, it's a neutral vs black thing. I do LOVE my black faced watch, but if I was moving into my first high end watch, I would go white hands down having gone through owning both options.

I have a black one and love it:

But if I had to choose now, I'd take white MOP with rose gold <3

Beautiful watch! I know for sure I prefer black dials with two tone bracelets. But I get nervous about mixing metals ha it doesn't suit me! Do you think if chose now you'd change because you regret the black or just cause you're used to black and feel like a change? Thanks!

No, I don't regret the black dial, I just love the look of white mother-of-pearl with rose gold.
Anyway, good luck with your choice and don't forget to share with us. ;)

My Rolex has a black face with diamonds (where the numbers would be).
It is beautiful and I much prefer this to the white face. It is very elegant and chic. I wear a lot of black year round and this watch looks great with everything.

If you will be getting your father's white dial face in the future, maybe a black one for now is a good choice? I'm assuming you can borrow your father's anytime? Otherwise, you will end up with two Rolex white dial faces, unless that's not an issue.

I have a black dial face on my Victorinox stainless steel it's very smart and sophisticated and slightly rocker/wild depending on what bracelets I wear on the same wrist. I wear a lot of black/dark neutrals in my wardrobe if that helps.
