Grey Market Goods
Grey market goods are legal non-counterfeit goods manufactured abroad and imported into the U.S. without the consent of the trademark holder and sold through unauthorized dealers. Though manufacturers labeled these resold products as the "grey market" to associate them with illegal “black market” products, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the idea that grey market products are legal for resale in the U.S., regardless of where they were produced or originally sold. The one exception is where the trademark owner has a contractual agreement with the manufacturer not to import the goods into the U.S.

Costco’s website states it’s not an authorized dealer for these kinds of goods - luxury designer watches, purses, etc - so manufacturers’ warranty won’t be honoured. But Costco will refund for any reason. I’m guessing these are past season sell-offs from authorized dealers.

Bought my black Chloe Marcie from costco.ca last month. Had it authenticated and it was the real deal. Current season stock from Autumn 2020 in new condition. Site also had tan and cashmere grey Marcie along with matching wallets. Terrific prices!

I bought the zip around Chloe Marcie wallet in the tan in early December. Gorgeous wallet and fully authentic. The price was great - there was an additional discount prior to the Holidays, which I took advantage of (I don't see this very often at Costco on the luxury goods). Very happy with the purchase and will be purchasing more luxury bags / wallets from Costco in the future.

I saw some items from balenciaga sold at Costco as well. I would be careful because I heard the quality is not the same in some items. Kind of like going to an outlet vs the actual store? I cannot confirm though, it’s all speculations.
Costco has been selling a large size of the SKII toner and my friends are swearing it is not the same as the ones purchase from SKII. Again, all speculations
There was also a lawsuit between Tiffany’s and Costco. Court ruled against Tiffany’s but the statement stands: Tiffany’s does not sell their items at Costco, so don’t expect a little blue box.

I bought the Chloe Marcie Long Flap Wallet in black during the same discount sale. Half the price of retail stores. Lovely wallet and goes with my black marcie bag. I too am happy with my purchase. Came carefully packaged with Chloe box and tags.
