i just have planned an trip to the Mulberry outlet next week to buy my first ever Mulberry! does anyone know how much sale you get in Mulberry outlet stores?? (i am going to Roermond) also feel free to show your lily, Loooove looking at them because they are so beautiful!
I love lily too. There are many lily threads in the reference library and mulberry club so enjoy looking at all the photos!
I was there a couple weekends ago. I wasn't specifically looking for Lily or Alexa, but I do know that I saw an Alexa in a bright pink/red color, like a watermelon shade. Very eye catching. They also had several Lily's of various sizes. I would actually recommend that you call them if you're looking for something specific. They can tell you what they still have in stock. Unfortunately, I think you just missed the end of the summer sale but maybe they'll have some Labor Day discounts.
I was there yesterday (saturday) and bought a mini lily with crossbody shoulder chain. there are at least 10 different colors. Mine was $300 + tax. They sure have regular size bayswater and Lily. Not sure about Alexa. I was not pay attention. In fact, this mini lily is my first mulberry bag
A question. Are the Mulberry Bags sold in the outlet store in Roermond of good quality or are the second choice items? I’m asking because I once bought a coat in a designer outlet store that showed wear soon and didn’t meet the quality standard of other items of that same brand that I bought in a regular store.
I haven’t been to Roermond but assuming that it’s the same as the UK outlets they will have:
- previous season stock (majority of the items in store)
- subs (items that haven’t passed quality control, with 0 or 00 stamp to indicate how far the item deviated from QC standards - the issues are often very minor)
- outlet specials, which are usually either core collection bags in different leathers (they sometimes use up leathers from previous seasons that haven’t been used for a particular style before, e.g.
Alexa, Lily) or could be an older style brought back for a limited edition in the outlets
