Paris would be your best bet. I don’t think that the UK currently reimburses VAT.If I’m from the US but visiting London, taking the Eurostar to Paris for a night before going back to London via Eurostar then home to the US…where would be the cheapest place for me to purchase (including the vat refund?) thanks!

I would suggest checking all the boutiques if you are looking for something in particular. London has just one store in Mount Street which is tiny so it can't carry a lot of stock. Paris has a few stores so you may have a better chance of getting what you are looking for.Paris would be a lot cheaper vs London.
The line in Paris is always long (expect at least 1hr), while in London it’s only 15min tops
If she’s flying out of London she won’t get VAT back regardless of where the bag is purchased. The price of the bag in gbp versus euros is probably not that different. I would purchase from the more convenient location.Paris would be your best bet. I don’t think that the UK currently reimburses VAT.
Wouldn’t she submit the VAT forms at Paris train station, as she’s leaving the EU from there? If she’s flying out of London she won’t get VAT back regardless of where the bag is purchased. Yes, exactly. She would present her forms at Gare du Nord.Wouldn’t she submit the VAT forms at Paris train station, as she’s leaving the EU from there?
I didn’t know you could submit VAT forms at train stations…. thought it was just the airports…learned something new!Wouldn’t she submit the VAT forms at Paris train station, as she’s leaving the EU from there?
