Has anyone else been watching this jade Kristin? The first two times the seller listed it, the bids were $700+, and the reserve was not met! BIN was $1200, then $1100. It's getting cheaper. I'd love to have a jade Kristen, but I'm not paying more than retail for a used bag!

For sure! I'm not bidding, that's way out of my price range for a used bag lol. I've been watching this bag being auctioned for what seems like 2 weeks now. It's like a train wreck... I just can't look away!

When i saw the listing i remembered that one had ended that had similar scratches so i looked it up and sure enough she had bought it for 425. The original owner claims it was only used as a prop, Who knows. That is a lot but someone paid over 1000 for one of these a week or two prior.
One mans trash is another mans treasure, or womans in this case. ill never understand the craziness of paying so much over retail, that craziness is not for me, but if someone has money to burn more power to them.
I wouldnt do it though.

I wouldn't touch this with a 10ft pole. If you use the zoom feature on the enlarged pics you can tell this is not in great condition nwot or not. The leather on this bag scratches and marks very easily. I would not buy this used unless the listing had LOTS of high res photo's from every angle.

I wonder why so many people are obsessed with this style, to the point of paying crazy amounts if the leather is so delicate.

This is advertised as "a couple of flaws". It looks to me like it got sat on or was run over...granted it is cheap, but patent is not going to clean up...

I agree that they look a mess but it looks the same as the blue one that is listed.

Poor design. They should have made the bottom smooth leather.

This may be the wrong thread but does anyone know if the black sophias with silver hardware are still floating around anywhere or is it going to have to be an eBay purchase?

I got mine on clearance at Nordstrom at least a year ago, maybe even longer, so I don't think you will find it anywhere. Coach.com did have the black with gold hardware up until maybe a month ago.

I agree. This bag states being new, but the creases at the bottom make it look broken in, the scratches, and the fact it appears to be photographed in a car seat? Unless the seat is a prop? It's weird.

I don't always take that too seriously. Some Sellers don't really understand what nwot tags means. Especially since she doesn't even know the name of the $800 bag she bought.
