I was at the boutique today and inquired about upcoming collections and that I might be interested in some pieces and how to proceed. The SA told me they do not take reservations anymore and do a kind of "first come first serve" concept. She said the demand is so high that they would have a list of 20 names for one size of a shoe and it seemed pointless. She was very nice and it does make sense to me but I do suspect that well-known customers who spend a lot might get first dibs on some items. Has anyone heard about such an approach? This is for Switzerland btw and I know it's very different in the US especially at department stores where SAs work for commission...

Hello :-) as far as I know it was always like this in Switzerland. They don't do any reservations. It is very hard to get what you want and now they even implement a new rule: you can buy only one bag within 60days which is good. However this rule doesn't apply for the rest of Europe. Therefore others can still buy without any limit and it will be harder for transfers to Switzerland because some bags might be already sold out. I don't unterstand why they don't have they same rules at least for each continent.

We have this rule in the UK too (only one bag every 60 days)! I too think it’s really unfair that we have this rule when other countries don’t :(

Yes, the different rules are annoying. And I don't believe everything hits the floor and the first person to walk in gets it, I'm sure some people get first dibs. I think I might try going through Germany for 22P, does anyone know if they take reservations?

Yes, not fair at all. Just reading on here how people in the US get their bags (pre-reserved, shipped from different states...) sounds so baffling to me. We have to basically sit around and wait if we get any leftovers...

@ManyMoons and @rlVlad I will definitely let you know if I hear something from her! I told her I am VERY interested (ie I will be 100% buying this lol) and she is usually very good at getting the item(s). She managed to get me the tie dye 19 from 21C right when it came out, so I am pretty confident about the So Black 19. I just wanted to get my name on the top of the list right now because I feel this is going to be one of those hot items!
