Thanks so much for your reply! The problem is I do feel a connection with the bag. But I don't know if this is an issue I'll wish to have dealt with earlier. That's why i was wondering if anyone had experience with this kind of fraying and if it's detrimental to the bag..Firstly a big congrats on getting the Coral Pink because I love this color and I feel it is so underrated. I do agree it shows a slight orange tone but you are correct it depends on the lighting. I have yet to unbox mine but my SA was very kind to allow me to have a look outside the boutique in natural light and my decision was made instantly. Secondly if you are not comfortable with the piece you bought please do not think twice to get an exchange. I personally feel one has to always have a connection with the bag and if you are not feeling it do not be shy to speak with your SA.

The 22P pink flap got delivered today. I now see why some pics of this light pink can look washed out or even more white as just a very slight change in lighting will change how it looks in pics. But in person the color always looks actually very true pink. I find it very pretty and given the color, pretty much will go with anything. I haven’t seen 22S pink in person tho so can’t say how they compare.
These pics are the closest I could get to the true color. But I’d say in person it’s even more true pink. I find in the last pic there’s a slight lavender undertone which is actually not there in person. Probably pic 1 or 2 is more the IRL color.

You are welcome. I have seen some bags with fraying issues. My personal opinion is I will request for an exchange given the price of the bag!
What a great color! It’s a bit hard to tell from pics, but sometimes it isn’t the thread that is frayed, but it’s actually the quilting material (aka batting) under the leather that the needle may have picked up and pulled through the stitch holes when the quilts were sewn, if that makes sense. One of my classic flaps has that in some spots but it’s barely noticeable and I haven’t had any issues/concerns about it. But if it really bothers you then definitely try to exchange it!

At this point which ever one I can get my hands on will be great with me but I still prefer 22p!

It has been 2 months now, has any other Chanel bag ever been this delayed? Or is this in fact the longest it has ever been?Congratulations. I saw the cardholder in person so I can only imagine how beautiful this flap is in real. I have the boy in 22p and the flap in 22s and I only see a subtle difference really. I kept both as they have different hardware and I’m trying to justify they are different enough lol.
