So disappointed..
Bought the mini yellow flap and after only 3 (!!!) wears, it looks horrific- although I have treated it with extra care. Took it the Chanel store today and they will send it to paris for repair, but I am really worried it will happen again once I get it back (if I get it back?). Has this happend to anybody else?

That looks really bad. What would even cause that? Chanel not painting the leather correctly?

No clue.. the shocking part: they didn’t even want to take it back at first!! Told me it’s «nothing». I was fuming! It’s like this along the whole chain of the bag.
Wow the wear and tear is quite shocking, even though I have a few mini lambskin, they don’t wear like this. Chanel usually doesn’t cover leather wear and tear for warranty, did you have to pay or managed to push for free repair? Hope the bag comes back with better quality.

Does the main body of the bag have the same issue or only the chain? It looks like something that can happen if you had worn a top with hard fabric like a denim jacket causing the chain to keep rubbing against the fabric when worn.

I just checked the warrantyTerms and conditions and it says the braided bag chain and bag straps are covered. I think this mini would fall under warranty because the bag straps within the chain are wearing down.

I’m so sorry they did not take action immediately. That’s so disheartening. Ask to speak to the store manager and push them to replace your bag. I would also try the 1-800 number and ask to speak to a leather care expert.

Oh no! It does look horrific!
Keep us updated on the repair process.

I had to send in a mini O case with tear at the zipper pull only after a few uses (mainly in my bag as a catch-all which I don’t even reach for that often!). They won’t let me exchange for another one since it was >14 days from purchase. But since it was pretty new, they accepted it to send to the Repair Specialist team in another state. There they decided it can be repaired but had to wait for the part from Paris. The whole process took a long time. AND they didn’t even replace the zipper pull in the same color (I got the classic color- how can they not have parts in the classic color?). Needless to say, I was disappointed in the whole repair process and how long it took= I was without my mini o case during that time.

I hope they will fix your bag properly! That yellow shade is so cute!

Has anyone purchased this micro bag and what’s your thoughts on this in general please? I am trying to hunt one down but seems to be sold out.. also trying to evaluate if it is worth it at the same time too as it is quite expensive. Thank you
