I have reached analysis paralysis but my flap won't arrive for a few more days so I have to ask one last thing .... @M00 In your reveal of your small CF you said that you couldn't capture the same color in your pic thhen what you were seeing with your eyes (and I love the shade your bag is in the photos). Do you think this jumbo/shoe combo is closer to the real color of YOUR bag bc I am seeing brown undertones here. I just wanted to get your thoughts before I slit my wrists trying to figure out what shade the bag is ahhhhhhhhhhh (((jumping of a cliff of frustration))))

I must say that I have never analyzed a color THIS hard in my life.
I guess the bottom line is that I collect Hermes bags so I am super familiar with those shades and CC is new to me at this price point. Chanel prices while shopping remotely is KILLING me.

Ugh I'm getting anxiety over this dam red situation. Your SA's pic looks close to my SA's picture and I also don't favor this shade with the brown. OMG. I don't blame you for returning and also not finding a new one.... Ugh CC is going to drive me tp drink. The main thing for me is I MUST find a local SA. The remote shopping experience is anything but luxurious! This is trash.

I think it looks stunning in artificial light just like the pics I got from my sa. I looked at the bag in a sunlight and for me it was just too much brownish undertone. The bag is beautiful but it's just not the red I'm looking for. I hope yours turn out to be perfect for you!

Don’t want to complicate things but I’ve posted about not being happy with my small red cf but the brown while it’s there it’s hard to see normally. You have to look at it at an angle in certain lighting. In some lightings it does appear true red so I guess it depends if whether the 1 angle of brown will bother you or not. Once you see it you can’t unsee it is my problem. I’m sleeping on whether or not to keep mine but I actually feel a bit better about it after looking at it for a couple days versus when I first got it.

I agree on everything you said. Same thing might have happened to me if it wouldn't been that tear and the bag would've stayed with me longer. These hard life decisions lol

This red is more stressful than the completely MIA light pink. How are there so many different shades! Is it the material?

These bags are extremely expensive. If you are not happy about the color return and wait for the next red color to meet your expectations.

Agreed. It could be the actual dye, the different variations of caviar, or the craftsman who’s mixing the color.
I actually don’t mind about the MIA light pink as I already reached my limit for this month. Wouldn’t mind if it shows up next month hehe.

The good thing about Chanel vs. Hermes is that you CAN return them very easily!! ❤ Hopefully it is perfect but try not to stress too hard… I know easier said than done. At the end of the day I have to keep reminding myself that these are just bags and meant to be fun, not cause stress. But trust me, I’ve been collecting for over 10 years and only recently have been able to stop stressing about them!

I’m trying to respect their system and not go around it by forcing my hubby or my sister(s) to go buy a black 19 before the 19 price increase but damn…


Also I definitely think I could get the manager to override my limit. I’m really trying to be good. The good thing is I can get a black 19 at any time. I have many options but losing my patience.

Since the conversation is about the red bags right now, I'm not sure if somebody has asked rhis already but has anybody heard that mini top handle should come in caviar red too but with "lizard" handle in 22p? I went to the other boutique when season was launched and the sa told me that and put me on the list for it. This is my first experience with her and she was great. So she sent me an update week ago that she hasn't received it yet. I probably should've confirmed that its mini top handle and not cch but i didnt want to question her and be that crazy lady. I'm just wondering has anybody else heard about this bag?!?

I’m trying to find a 22p red wallet or card holder. Has anyone seen one available?? My SA said their boutique only got the WOC and no other small leather goods in the red. It seems the department store locations got more. My Nordstrom SA wasn’t 100% sure he’d be able to get any of them.

I’m pretty sure it was the red caviar CCH with lizard embossed handle but definitely NOT the mini top handle.

My sister really wanted the denim small but it was sold out except for the one SA but I can’t buy for her due to the limit so she had to drive to a Chanel boutique twice to create a profile. It definitely ruined the luxury experience for her. Bottom line is the limit thing can be frustrating but if you need a bag before it’s sold out, you might have to ask your hubby or sister.
I’m praying for both of us that we’ll be able to get this light pink flap soon.
