It has brown undertone in certain lighting and can appear orange ish and pinkish in others. Overall the caviar is matte and not shiny as they appear in pics.

Thanks. The matte is a deal breaker for me. I like my reds shiny.

I've just picked up this little princess today. Extra mini CCH in 22P purple. This is the only color that I'm missing from my bag collection and I'm so excited to finally have it!

Went in today to look at the small red (NG757) CCH that my sister ordered…immediately when our SA unwrapped it, we were underwhelmed, as it wasn’t the “true red” we thought it would be. It’s hard to tell from this pic and all the pics out there but it appeared quite dull IRL and slightly pulled orange. It’s definitely not a bold, pop of true red IMO. Then, we saw the BA sitting on the shelf and wanted to compare it to the CCH. Exact same color code as the CCH, but the BA looked much more like a classic, true red. If either of us were into BA, that bag would have come home with one of us, haha. THEN, we asked to see the jumbo so we could compare all three. Again, exact same color code, but the jumbo definitely had a pinkish undertone to it. So yeah, one color code, three bag styles, three different shades of red. Hope that helps anyone still looking for that perfect red. If you like the BA, I’d say that’s definitely your best bet out of this batch!

I think it’s important to realize that Chanel reds are complex. They change in lighting. It can pull true red in certain lighting while pink in others and even light orange under yellow lighting. 22p has a shiny almost iridescent finish so indoor lighting away from sun will look a little dull while under the sun and artificial lighting the color will come alive.

I picked up my WOC today, I really love the color, it‘s nicer in real life than any of the pictures I‘ve seen. The light is gone already but here‘s a sneak peak. I also asked if they still had the Christmas packaging and they did.

Oh no! I’m going to the store today to pick up my red small coco. Hopefully, I’ll like it if not I’m saving my $$ for a pink small cf (if I can find one!).
