The chain is not removable, but I love the length when I wear my jacket or coat. It looks really good when I put the bag towards the back crossbody. I can also double strap it to make it a shoulder bag. I love the top handle, because I use it a lot. When I leave a restaurant/taxi I take the bag by the handle and it's so easy to "handle," because I'm not accidentally knocking the bag into something by grabbing it by the chain.Quick question: is the chain on mini top handle removeable? and how are you finding the length of that chain (compared to other minis)?
I've never considered buying a mini top handle, but I might break my own rule since I'm loving this shade of pinkTIA!

I have had HORRIBLE experience in Europe, where the SA watched me like a hawk and would only let me look at the SLG's from afar (like, behind the counter where it was not arm's reach)! She wouldn't even let me feel the leather or try the zipper until I confirm that was the SLG I wanted to purchase. On the other hand, pre-COVID, the Vancouver Chanel would offer drinks near the front door on launch date.

Wait they do that?! I always take photos and never been told not to… that’s so weird. I literally had a sales person take a pic of me wearing the bag before to send to my mom to help me decide. Is this in the US? Maybe diff country diff policy?!

at these prices (or any price actually), paying customers should be treated nicely.Canada for me. Honestly I think it depends on the SA and if they think you’re copying their bags to make reps. I take pictures all the time in Toronto but I’ve had friends who got yelled at by security for taking pics.
It doesn’t look grey but has grey undertones. Definitely a blue bag.
Sorry off-topic, but just to chime in: I was about to take pics of bags in the boutique of another luxury brand, but asked my SA first. He told me because I was a known client it would be fine for me. But for new clients, they don't allow due to the recent rash of luxury store robberies. Maybe that's the reason for Chanel as well...
