Update: a friend of mine went to our mutual SA late yesterday. The friend was told by the SA that each SA at that boutique would be allowed to review it for only 30 minutes. I don’t know if that’s normal and (according to my friend) the SA was annoyed by this process. Weird!

I contacted the SA directly this morning and was told my bag is now reserved! One step closer to purse peace. :yahoo:

Help! I talked to a buyer who can get me a 22s caramel mini at a slight premium (I don't generally like to pay premium straight from boutique/department store but this time it's fairly small so I'm okay with it). I'd still prefer to buy it directly from my boutique SA, but on this caramel mini my SA hasn't given me a clear yes/no answer yet). What do I do?

Also side topic, for mini bag, would you ladies/gentleman go for an extra mini Coco handle or a square mini? I used to think coco handle mini/small is a bit bulky for what I'd like, but recently saw an extra mini and it's starting to grow on me. Appearance wise, extra mini CCH looks almost the same as square mini.

CCH: caviar leather, with top handle (can decorate with twilly for a fun look), new eye candy. The extra mini size also makes it more casual than the bigger size.
Square mini: fits more, and something I have been after since 2019 but yet to be able to get one.

My SA from your store never responded to me after saying it’s fully reserved. I ended up reserving the bag in London.

Is it just me or does this look like the reverse hardware with shiny light gold in the top right of these two bags??

Same here. Asked for the caramel mini months in advance. Then it's always "we haven't gotten the books yet". Then it's "oops reserves are already filled out"

IMO- pay the slight premium to get the bag- because if your SA doesnt get it, you will be really dissapointed I am assuming? Chanel SA's know that they are somewhat powerless to control who gets what...so do what you need to do to get the bag you want. You know this is going to be a highly marked up item on the resell market, so the "slight" premium now is going to be hella high when it launches and is sold out.
I paid alot for my caramel mini last year- the most I have ever paid for a Chanel bag- but I can not even regret it because the colour is indescribable!
