I personally would not keep it but I'm very finicky especially paying these prices. I'm actually dismayed that Chanel would allow this bag to pass through their quality control but not surprised. If you really love it and feel you will regret not having it then, I would try to condition it to smooth out the wrinkles. Also try to reach out to other boutiques because sometimes people who reserve it change their minds. Good luck and either way, you should really love it.

Since it’s on the strap, it might be easier to fix like they can buff out the long scratch line or maybe replace a new strap since it came like that? I just bought a bag and it also had a flaw with severe wrinkles on the quilts in the front flap, but that’s harder to fix so they might not do it for mine.

I think if it’s only a small section, I’d just deal with it. But it’s about 10 inches long. The leather is totally got peeled off (you can see on my last pic) so I don’t think I could buff it out. I think C can totally repair that but it’s such a long area, plus I don’t think I want to wait for 4+ month for repair since I bought a brand new bag. But thank you for your suggestion, I appreciate it :hbeat:

I’m usually not picky but this one will bother me. The third photo specifically if that’s how it looks in real. I really hope you can get it fixed or get a replacement. This will still likely sell if you decide to return as these are highly sought after. So sorry but hopefully it works out once you talk to your SA. Good luck

That 20S purple was definitely a winner in my opinion!

def prefer this season's purple in lambskin. Gives it a, hmm.. milkier look? haha

They continue to have quality issues while constantly increasing their prices multiple times a year, but somehow us Chanel lovers can’t stop buying from them. Instead, we fomo and buy these highly sought-after bags and in the fear of the next price increase. They see that they can sell bags with flaws even at higher prices so I guess they probably don’t care about quality control any longer. It sucks…

Thank you. I’m keeping my hopes up that my SA can get another one when he’s back from vacation. I didn’t ask how many the store was getting. Maybe they are still receiving shipment.

Thank you! I’m sooooo glad they do - being quite new to cc last year I heard someone say they didn’t and that was what was so great about the seasonal colours - how glad am I that they are wrong! This shade is indeed so beautiful that they should bring it out more often so more people can get their hands on it. Sucks to see them get hoarded by resellers or have quality issues that are still accepted due to the fomo :sad:

For years, decades they never repeated colors. The color-repeating is a fairly new phenomenon!
