I find it odd that many people can’t see that Chanel purposely used softer leather for many of the bags in the spring collection. It’s reminiscent of some of their vintage bags. Not everything Chanel produces will have prim, perfectly smooth leather. If that’s what you’re going for, stick with the classics.

The softer leather is done on purpose for a casual, more effortless feel. It has nothing to do with “cheap” leather. It’s a style and vibe. The circling of “wrinkles” on a bag makes me wonder how so many people here can’t see that the more casual vibe of the leather was a choice.

Exactly! Different choice of materials that go towards a design idea doesn’t mean better or worse quality. If we want indestructible bricks we should be carrying around a Nokia.
Also - runway pieces are basically prototypes. It’s called fashion

Thank you for recognizing this as well!! Sometimes I feel like I’m not on a fashion thread with many of these comments. I just want to reply with eye roll emojis to so many of these posts, lol. So many people have no concept of a “look” or fashion.

Im loving all of the colors of this season so far! I keep saying I’m going to only do 3-4 Chanel bags a year but that keeps changing:doh: I’m definitely looking forward to seeing NH621 pink for a mini and NH620 for a m/l:love:

I’m still on the fence about the heart bags. I can’t decide if I like them or not. By the time I decide they will be sold out :lol: especially since the prices are closer to WOC prices

I am kinda liking the “funky town” although it does look like the 19s baby sister lol
