Oh wow, I was contemplating getting a Shining Links card holder - was kicking myself for passing it up at my recent boutique visit, but this potential issue with the crystals falling off is a good reason for me to shy away.

I got the flap card holder but I feel like the flat card holder is at higher risk for crystals falling out because of the tight card space and constant sliding in out of that front slot where the CC is. Whereas the flap card holder won't have much "stress" pressure or action directly behind it. lol At least this is my cockamamie theory I'm convincing myself with until it arrives

That's why - even though it's absolutely pretty and I love it - I wouldn't buy it. I heard so many stories about Chanel CJ. So I only buy brooches without chrystals (I don't like pearls anyway), even though there was a small one I contemplated but in the end I didn't want to take the risk.

Ditto. Super Dacob pointed out the Chanel France website had this picture to showcase their earrings. Chanel is literally telling people "Do Not Buy".

What do you guys think about the jumbo instead? For reference I’m 5‘8.
Do jumbos keep their value?

I would try one on. But at your height (I'm 5'9") it will probably look fine. It looks quite big on the person here, but not bad. I'm getting the dark pink in a Jumbo and I usually prefer mediums. I'd take the blue in a Jumbo too

Received my 22S blue cardholder yesterday. I really love the color, and would say the second photo is closest to the color in real life. However, it has wrinkles and a dent in the back, so I am returning it and hopefully they have another one available for exchange

I always heard of the problems with the crystals and pearls falling off the Chanel brooches was there a different technology that was done on the wallets that was different than the brooches?
