Hi there. Anyone based in Australia?? I’m trying to get a hold of the rectangular mini in caramel. My SA said that it will be released early Feb and that they will only receive 3 for the whole country??!! And it’s all been allocated already?? Please tell me that’s not true!! And she also mentioned a price increase in Feb?? Any idea how much the increase for rect mini will be??

This is definitely not the case- I'm on a list at a Neiman Marcus in Chicago and they're getting 3 in that store alone! Unfortunately, I'm 4th on the list so I doubt I will get it.. The mini rectangular increased $200 on the 15th. The new price for a mini rectangular is $4000 pre-tax.

Honestly, I don't think they'd only have 3 for the whole country. Once I know my local boutique got 12..yess 12 of the seasonal gold coco handle. all sold out really quick of course but the sum of 12 quite surprised me because we used to hear there're only X single digit bag of this type ordered. i think what happened is they set a certain amount but does not arrive at the same time and depending on the requests, they might continue with the amount ordered or stop it altogether. Perhaps anyone else could chime in?

Got lucky and am very happy with my purchase. The mini is made in France and seems a lot more durable than the metallic lamb bags I owned over the years (but only time will tell how it ages). It slightly feels like goat skin.

The caramel tone of the 19 is perfection. I’ve owned black and beige before but neither made me happy. This tone goes perfectly with the loud gold hardware and makes it blend in. It’s not that easy to capture.

Does anyone have thoughts on this one? I am sitting on the fence. I have a black vintage perforated Chanel tote and use a bright red felt organizer to give it structure, small pop of color and to obscure the contents. I would mix it up similarly as well but is this too trendy and worth $4.5 K with taxes?

Piping in. I have an iridescent lamb bag and it's definitely more resistant to scratches than my lambskin bag. Not sure if metallic lamb is different or treated differently than iridescent.

Thank you for this information. I got the purple iridescent medium CF in metallic lambskin but have not really used it. Was wondering about the wear and tear.

That’s true. Iridescent and metallic is two different things.

Iridescent is a finish that blended into the leather while they treat leather. It’s kinda like the iridescent finish is coming inside the leather itself, which is quite durable.

But metallic is just a coating on the surface of the leather which is prone to being rubbed off or peeling.

Thank you for this information. I just thought that all iridescent and metallic materials in bags are the same.

You mean for the 19? I posted some comparison pictures with Hermès Gold earlier today which capture the colour pretty accurately (indirect light). We haven’t had sun in days as it is snowing but I mostly see the saturated caramel colour.
