I'm in Germany, too and you can order. I don't know exactly about picking up your order at the boutique, but maybe it's the click & collect that's now available in Germany (at least in Bavaria, where I live).
Or they can sent it to you via UPS
Payment is via bank transfer (and maybe credit card via phone or so...)

I tried on the silver rectangular mini yesterday & compared it to my black square mini. Def the rectangular has a longer strap length (like all rectangular minis).

I'm wondering how the lambskin feels on the gold mini? It looks like it has a texture ontop of it that is different from the smooth lambskin, kind of like the 19s grained lamb collection. Does it feel more durable compared to regular lamb?

Do you mind posting a mod shot with the gold mini? i've been looking for one but no one seems to have posted it, i'm scared itll be too gold?!! :(

Someone then told me that metallics are hard to spa once they get scratched or damaged. I love, love this gold metallic so much, but always been scared to pull the trigger due to my experience with metallics. Maybe Chanel metallics are different than Gucci!

Hello @Blackgoldpearls. Thank you for the reminder of the metallic finish and how it cannot be repaired. I needed someone to knock some sense into me and remind me of this. As Chanel lovers, we get caught up in the newest offerings. Yes, I do recall a SA not recommending 'metallic' finishes but 'iridescent' was fine.

That’s true. Iridescent and metallic is two different things.

Iridescent is a finish that blended into the leather while they treat leather. It’s kinda like the iridescent finish is coming inside the leather itself, which is quite durable.

But metallic is just a coating on the surface of the leather which is prone to being rubbed off or peeling.

Have you tried placing an order now that boutiques are closed? I asked my SA right before they closed and she said def. no ordering through phone or WhatsApp during lockdown. Now I'm confused :confused1:

I am loving the colors out this spring. The caramel is to die for. I love it in the mini rectangle but its also heavenly for the Chanel 19. I kinda want to get it in both... thoughts?

Part of me is trying to say no to the caramel in the 19 and get the white iridescent instead... but caramel:love:

Thank you for confirming this for me too! I absolutely adore this gold, but don’t want the metallic to brush off after several years of use. Yes, as Chanel lovers, sometimes I don’t think longevity but just how beautiful it is
