Hello I have just joined this club with a 225 in the aged calfskin! I'm wondering if the bag will sort of stretch out and open up...right now it's brand new and I'm having trouble fitting my essentials in it (which aren't much). I remember how my WOC opened up after a few uses. I'm hoping I can keep this size and not have to go up to a 226, but just wondering if I'll be able to fit more in it if I use it a bit more. TIA! This was quite an enabling thread for me ;)

Kathydep I'm so embarrassed I didn't see your post here! This was in a Southern California store (San Diego Nordies, I believe). I didn't keep it as I am now on the fence between a classic mini flap and a 225 (or 226...ack, decisions!) Enjoy your bag it is so unique and stunning, a real head turner!

I just bought a 224 anniversary edition pre owned, hope I made the right decision. This will be my first reissue and prob the last chanel (in a long time)
Can't wait to receive it

Is it the normal aged calf skin or something different? I can't speak to it stretching but mine was very flexible from day one. I hope it works for you as it truly is a great bag.

Thank you Vonnie1 that is very encouraging! Yes it is the aged calfskin. It came "flat" so I think I just need to play around with it a bit more. I'm glad to hear you love yours!

I've heard they come flat but for whatever reason mine didn't. Mine is black with rhw which I had a very hard time finding at the time. Everyone had 225 in gold and thanks to a lovely tpfr SA she managed to track one down for me in rhw. I find it much roomier and more flexible than my m/l classic flap. I think once you put all your stuff in it and carry a few times it will be fine.

Yay I am so happy to join the club! Just received my first reissue, 224 anniversary edition. I'm going to get it authenticated before a reveal. Fingers crossed it's all good [emoji847]
