Chanel PTT vs LV Petit Palais

The PTT looks old and dated now imo and the LV bag looks fresher and more modern. I sold the PTT, it was way too heavy and couldn't sit on your shoulder. The GST is the more classic look and was typically selected as a work bag, so the value of my PTT never held up. I'd get the LV.

Dear all, I am thinking of selling my Chanel PTT to fund for a LV Petit Palais. I fell in love with the Petit Palais when I first set eyes on it. However I am in a dilemma as the Chanel PTT is discontinued and if I ever regret selling it, it will be very difficult to purchase another one.

I would like to hear your opinions whether I should keep the Chanel PTT or to use it to fund for the LV Petit Palais. I am looking for a work bag and I feel that the Petit Palais seems more suitable for work. But I am still in 2 minds about it. Appreciate any opinions. Attaching a few stock photos for reference. Btw, which Petit Palais would you choose? Black or Creme? TIA!

Your Chanel looks beautiful depends on how much you will get in hand, a good Chanel is a forever piece, some LV bags come and go don't hold value at all

Yes, I think the PTT doesn’t hold its value. Will probably have a harder time selling it than other Chanels. I love the LV I just bought. Really functional and works better as a work bag than the PTT.

Thanks! The PTT is beautiful but it has been sitting in my wardrobe for years and I rarely use it. I think it will be better to sell it and get something which I know I will use.
