Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

How come everyone has a date and is 100% sure about it but it never really happens then? Where does this information come from?

This talking about the impending price increase and that it will be huge (more than 10% possibly) really makes me nervous...

And at the moment there are no prices anymore on the german Chanel website... Hopefully they will reapear soon and that it's not a sign for the price increase coming now within the next days...

Prices are the same on UK website.

Price is also the same for the U.S. Website. I honestly think maybe it will be during pre fall collection that it increases. Just a guess since that happened last year.

I have decided to buy my first flap bag (choose between a classic Jumbo or reissue 227) and am now planning a trip to Spain in June, hopefully I can bring a flap bag home with me.

A friend of mine is also going to Europe soon in April, she said she could help me to get a flap if I wanted. The thing is, I have never seen those bags in person as there's no chanel store here. I would want to try and feel which style or material before I decide which flap I want. On the other hand, I am afraid price will be increased before my trip to Spain in June. I believe I will have to pay at least 10 or even 20% more.

Anybody has any idea when the next price increase will be? Should I ask my friend to get a bag for me without even seen the bag in person?

You are going in June, you might as well get the whole experience and try the bags on for size yourself. Then you really get to see which one you cannot live without and purchase your souvineer!

My honest SA told me that he has NOT heard anything about price increase!

I was at Chanel yesterday and the SA said she have not heard of anything about a price increase. (USA)

Ya chanel loves to do the big increases! Yuck!# atleast the euro is low .

I hope it will stay low til after my visit there in July. Fingers crossed!
