Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

I'm wondering if I return a bag that was purchased at the old price, will they re-tag and it be marked up with the new price?

The price increase already happened in Europe on April 14...

New prices are for the classic flaps:

Mini: 2020 Euros
Medium: 3550 Euros
Jumbo: 3950 Euros
Maxi: 4300 Euros

Hopefully it will take a looooooong time before the next one...

This explains it. I was looking for medium flaps around April 11 and it costs around 3450€. Just a few days I came back and purchased it, the price went up to 3550€.

I was in Niemans today and spoke to my SA....she told me that inventory is extremely low now for Classics and GST's...very hard to get, or order.....she said GST's are going up, and that Chanel is raising the prices because they want the bags to more exclusive.....


She is a very good SA, but I told her that prices have always been going up, but she still insisted that word from Chanel is that they want more exclusivity......interesting...

GST is not hard to find, all the NM, Chanel boutique and bloomindales all have GST, burgandy or black or beige... listed $2900

that's what I thought..I recently saw the XL GST in beige GHW, and a burgundy also...I just haven't seen the regular GST beige GHW...

Can someone please confirm the current US price for a classic flap in small (A01113)? I am purchasing from SAKS and the SA has quoted me $4900. I thought the A01113 is $4700 and the M/L A01112 is $4900? I tried the US Chanel site but it doesn't list prices for me (it only shows prices if I go back to the AU Chanel site). I'm going by the prices from chanelprices.com so I could be wrong
