The classic just increased price by 20% in Canada. I called the boutique this morning and was told by SA that the Jumbo classic is now 6100 and the GST is now 3200 (this is before tax price). I bought one GST last month before the price increase and I paid 2957 after tax. It's such a shock that they increased by so much in a few days. I can't help start questioning how they justify the price by providing the same quality. Am I the only one start loosing faith? I still love the brand and design, but the price is beyond my affordability starting this point....... maybe this is exactly what they want initially (so sad)

The price increase is too drastic. There is no explicable reason for it. I don't know of any other co that has such significant increases. What I like about hermes is that they address the increases and give some sort of reasoning for it, but with Chanel it's always hearsay. I think it's kind of tacky already and they are just taking advantage bc they can.

Anyone knows if the s/m will have an increase?
If the new mini is going to be 9 inches, then it's practically the same bag as the small, with the only differences being the double/single flap and chain length :confused1:?
