I think that the 08 bags are higher priced anyway - haven't the reissues been, er, reissued at a higher price for 08? So technically, there hasn't been a official price increase, but the bags are release with a higher retial price.

Correct me if I'm wrong!

Yes, the reissues have increased from last season. I bought my 227 metallic black reissue last summer and it was $2495. The 227 for s/s 08 is $2850...dramatic increase:sad:

I would imagine that if there is an increase, it would not affect those bags that were hit Nov 1.

buying chanel now is just like investment in China's stock market...ugh....You have to step in as soon as possible otherwise you would just see the price going high up !!!

I'll be royally cheezed if there's a price hike that hits before I reel in (hopefully) the metallic purple. Don't even want to imagine that would happen.

If there was an increase in Feb 2007 and one in nov 2007 maybe it is just likely there will be another one in feb? I know all this speculating is not helping matters, but I dont even trust what my SA tells me. She said last year there would be no price increase in Nov 2007 and look how wrong she was! I live in hope...:wondering

Yes, but the year before that (maybe a year and a half?) there were no increases for Chanel at all. I don't think that is really a good indicator.
