Can I ask how is the wear and tear on this?? I have been considering this but have also seen some resellers sell them mentioning the leather gets stained with a black mark from the grommet hardware tarnishing.Got super lucky and scored my dream bag in store!I was told that it was impossible to get, but by principle do not feel right paying a premium to resellers. I've worn my classic minis for so long, nothing has happened yet (knock on wood). I wore my pearl crush rectangular mini one time for a few hours. I found out there were scuff marks in 2 corners and the flap where you lock it. I was so so disappointed. I think the soft leather is super delicate. I sold it and I don't think I'll ever buy a pearl crush bag in my life again.
I can’t agree more with you, i also bought the pearl crush mini and the leather was so soft and delicate that it had many crinkles out of the box. I ended up returning although it was a beautiful bag, i didn’t see it was going to last long. Classic mini is definitely more structured and lasts longer
I baby the bag and have not seen any wear and tear yet! The chain and ball is kept from touching the bag in storage. This is for sure a very delicate leather and not meant for daily wear if you want to keep it pristine.
I don’t baby my bags. I wear my pearl crush rectangle mini everywhere on the weekends. It goes with me running errands and play dates with my five year old. It’s holding up pretty well for being used since April. It’s been smashed against car seats, smushed, dropped, and even kid handled by my too helpful kindergartener (argh). It don’t like him handling it only because kids hands are not the cleanest and he is rough with everything. It’s still looking new.
