Many in US are moving towards only allowing Elite and above status to reserve. I’ve seen others on tPF state that a few weeks or a month ago and my SA told me this last weekend when I saw her. She said eventually all boutiques will move this way.but in fact I don't understand why ...
Duma backpack looks so cute! I am just wondering with it being lambskin... if I should still pursue it. In 22C it was in another more durable leather. For color my preference was black.Ahh I’m so torn about which colour duma backpack should I get! I love them all… but leaning towards black. I already have a black classic medium and black classic mini square. My wardrobe is very neutral toned (E.g black, white, beige, white and denim) Should I still go for a black Duma backpack? Help!
I havent paid attention to the backpacks so don’t know what other colors it comes in. But i think a red (if available lol) one would be a good addition to your neutral wardrobe!
I think it’s super cute in the pink. Since you already own black bags, I would suggest a diff color. It also comes in grey so that might be a good option.

Would love to hear if anyone have suggestions too.
And all statuses, I think from Elite+ to VVIC, can only be attained by purchasing a combo of RTW/ fine jewelry/ watches (similar to now but more strict). Leather goods, consume jewelry, shoes don't count. Some here soon will lose their status if they haven't been purchasing other items in those categories. And even for status, leather goods can only be reserved for $8k & over...Many in US are moving towards only allowing Elite and above status to reserve. Thanks for the additional context. My SA told me I was good to still reserve but she did not share all the intricacies above. I’m curious as to when all the other criteria will go into effect. Maybe they already are. I am in agreement with the poster who states that whatever the rules are they need to be consistently applied across the brand. I’ve seen at least 6 or 7 different variations of the “rules” lol.And all statuses, I think from Elite+ to VVIC, can only be attained by purchasing a combo of RTW/ fine jewelry/ watches (similar to now but more strict). I think the issue there is that each boutique is incredibly different. Some have TOO MANY local clients, some are all tourist destinations & struggle to get local clients (therefore most clients are remote). Some compete with other nearby boutiques, and some are the only ones within 500 miles or more. I don't think the rules will ever be uniform because each boutique, locale, clientele, etc is unique, and therefore has a unique set of variables to consider when maximizing their sales/ efficiency/ allocation/ etc. Hermes is the same. There are no uniform rules at the boutique either....which makes sense IMO.Thanks for the additional context.
