I've decided on the 38 with diamond markers...I think. I decided to not get the diamond bezel because while I do LOVE it, I'm one of those people that wears their watches ALL the time and with a 6 year old and how active I am, I worry about the diamonds, no matter how secure they may be.
I love the size of the 38, I feel it's just right. The 33 was too small on my wrist and the 41 too large.
Of course, DF did inform me that if I decided to not go the watch route ( he said I could always get it for a wedding present or such), I could always go the Tiffany route!
Ever since I saw Contessa's Schlumberger ring on her hand, I've been wanting one like a fat kid wants cake!
And I love the Schlumberger cross in all plat or a Tiffany Key. Oh, decisions, decisions!

NO regrets on the Schlumberger. That baby is my one guilty, obsessive pleasure that I wear daily!
I would advise you to go for what you LOVE......what your passion is.....even if you have to save some $$$ to do it. You'll be far happier in the end.
I'm SO excited for you!!!!!! Wish we could meet up in the NY store!!! Can you imagine???? My DH would keep your DF company while we lose ourselves in their for hours!!!!!!! Ha Ha......

We'll make it happen!!! I'm leaning toward the Schlumberger, honestly both are around the same price range, it will just depend on what I want more!
I'm going to go out on a limb here (and no.....haven't been drinking...well, maybe a tad! )
Anyhoo........was looking at the J12 today and while it's lovely......it doesn't make me fall to the floor.....kicking and screaming and losing sleep over it.
But then.....watches are to some what diamonds are to others......& at the end of the day, it's your decision.
You know......I waited 10 years (way more if you count when I actually fell in love with the Schlumberger XO band), for my Anni band.......there will be occasions for this one!!!! So if you want and love the J12......get it.
Am I making sense??

I love my watch now, it's just a Michele watch, with a small row of diamonds on the east and west sides of the bezel. I've had it forever and just kind of wanted to upgrade.
I'm not totally sold on the J12, I just know I wanted one at some point!
DF suggested it as an Xmas gift and I readily agreed and then I saw all the pretty jewels on here (yes, I'm talking to you, Contessa!) and I'm somewhat re-thinking. Plus when it comes to watches, I love the look of SS and the J12 is only black or white ceramic (or rubber which I wouldn't get). I would love it if I could get the J12 look in SS with diamonds which is why I'm also considering a Rolex or a Cartier Tank (which I've loved for years). DF says I can't go crazy, so I'm trying to only choose one really high end watch which last me forever!
And with my indecision, I'm feeling that jewelry is the way to go because I KNOW I love me that Schlumberger ring!
It seems that some of the most regrets people have are with watches and I don't want to make the wrong choice!
I'm sure 10 years from now, there will be other diamonds that I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on!
